अहंता (मैं -पन )
अपने में विशेषता देखना अहंता को ,परिछिन्नता को , देहाभिमान को पुष्ट करता है .
हमारा स्वरुप चिन्मय सत्तामात्र है और उसमे अहम् नहीं है - यह बात समझ में आ जाय तो इसी क्षण जीवन्मुक्ति है .
जगत , जीव और परमात्मा ये तीनो एक ही हैं . पर अहंता के कारण ये तीन दीखते हैं .
भगवान् से उत्पन्न हुई सृष्टि भगवद्रूप ही है , पर जीव अहंता ,आसक्ति ,राग के कारण उसको जगद्रूप बना लेता है .
उद्देश्य
जिसके लिए मनुष्यजन्म मिला है , उस परमात्मप्राप्ति का ही उद्देश्य हो जाने पर मनुष्य को सांसारिक सिद्धि - असिद्धि (अनुकूल प्रतिकूल परिस्थति ) बाधा नहीं दे सकती .
जैसे रोगी का उद्देश्य निरोग होना होता है , ऐसे ही मनुष्य का उद्देश्य अपना कल्याण (परमात्मप्राप्ति ) करना है . सांसारिक सिद्धि -असिद्धि को महत्व ना देने से उद्देश्य की सिद्धि होती है .
जब साधक का एकमात्र उद्देश्य परमात्मप्राप्ति का हो जाता है तब उसके पास जो भी सामग्री (वास्तु ,परिस्थति आदि ) होती है , वह सब साधनरूप (साधन -सामग्री ) हो जाती है .
एक परमात्मप्राप्ति का उद्देश्य हो जाने से अंतःकरण की जितनी शीघ्र और जैसी शुद्धि होती है , उतनी शीघ्र और वैसी शुद्धि अन्य किसी अनुष्ठान से नहीं होती .
मन
शान्ति त्याग से मिलती है मन की एकाग्रता से नहीं
मन को भगवान् में लगाना उतना ज़रूरी नहीं है , जितना ज़रूरी भगवान् में खुद लगना है. खुद भगवान् में लग जाएँ तो मन अपने - आप भगवान् में लग जायेगा
मन को स्थिर करना मूल्यवान नहीं है ,प्रत्युत स्वरुप की स्वतः सिद्ध निरपेक्ष स्थिरता का नुभव करना मूल्यवान है
जब तक मन को संसार से हटाकर परमात्मा में लगाने की वृत्ति रहेगी तब तक मन का सर्वथा निरोध नहीं हो सकेगा. मन का सर्वथा निरोध तब होगा, जब एक परमात्मा के सिवाय अन्य सत्ता की मान्यता नहीं रहेगी.
निष्कामभाव से बुद्धि स्थिर होती है और अभ्यास से मन स्थिर होता है. कल्याण बुद्धि की स्थिरता से होता है, मन की स्थिरता से नहीं. मन की स्थिरता से सिद्धियाँ होती हैं
मन में संसार का जो राग है उसे मिटाने की जितनी ज़रूरत है उतनी मन की चंचलता को मिटने की ज़रूरत नहीं है
Ego (I-ness)
Seeing something special in oneself, means strengthening of ego, finiteness and bodily pride.
Our own self is divinely Eternal Existence, and it has no ego.If this realized immediate salvation results.
The world, the being and God, these three are one, but because of our ego appear separate.
God's creation reflects the image of God, but the beings give it an image of the world by their ego,attachment and fondness.
Objective (Goal)
Worldly success or failure constitute no obstacle to a man who has made God realization as the only objective of his life for which he is blessed with this human body.
Just as the goal of the sick, is to gain good health, so man's objective is to seek salvation. By giving no importance to worldly success or failures and remaining equanimous, man achieves his goal.
When the sole objective of an aspirant is to realise Go, then whatever resources,things,conditions etc., he has, all become God- oriented.
When the sole objective is to realise God, no means are small or great.
Mind
Peace comes from renunciation, not from concentration of mind.
It is not too necessary to fix your mind on God, as it is to devotee oneself to God. If one is well attracted to God, then the mind would by itself be fixed in Him.
Making the mind steady is not valuable, but the awareness of the independent and steady existence of the Self is valuable.
By unselfish feelings, the intellect becomes steady and by practice the mind. Liberation comes by steadiness of intellect, but not from the steadiness of mind. The steadiness of mind endows one with occult powers.
