राग - द्वेष

राग द्वेषपूर्वक किए गए काम का परिणाम अच्छा नहीं होता 

राग द्वेष अंतःकरण के आगुन्तक विकार हैं, धर्म नहीं.धर्म स्थायी रहता है और विकार अस्थायी.

राग द्वेष अंतःकरण में आने जाने वाले हैं अतः इन्हें मिटाया जा सकता है 

विवेक अनादी है, राग अपना बनाया हुआ है. संसार में राग होने से विवेक दब जाता है और विवेक जाग्रत होने से राग मिट जाता है 

निरंतर परिवर्तनशील संसार को स्थिर मानने से ही राग द्वेषादिद्वन्द उत्पन्न होते हैं.

वास्तव में सब कुछ चिन्मय ही है, पर राग द्वेष के कारण जड़ दीखता है. राग द्वेष न हों तो एक चिन्मय तत्त्व (परमात्मा) के सिवाय और कुछ है ही नहीं

Attachement and hatred

Actions taken under the influence of attraction and hatred, do not result in good.

Attachment and hatred are transient morbid feelings of our inner faculties, but notg natural tendencies(dharma). Dharma is natural and permanent, while the changes are temporary.As attachment and hatred are intermittent conditions of our inner faculties(mind,intellect and ego), these can be wiped out.

Discrimination is eternal(beginningless), but attraction is self created. Attraction of the world overwhelms discrimination and with the devolopment of discrimination attachment goes away.

By accepting the ever changing world as permanent, the duality of attraction and hatred etc., are born.

In truth everything is divine, but because of like and dislike, it appears as inert. If like and dislike were absent, then there exists nothing except divinity (God).
