कामना
नाशवान (शरीर,संसार) की इच्छा ही अंतःकरण की अशुद्धि है।
नाशवान की चाहना छोड़ने से अविनाशी तत्त्व की प्राप्ति होती है।
जैसे बिना चाहे सांसारिक दुःख मिलता है,ऐसे ही बिना चाहे सुख भी मिलता है अतः साधक को चाहिए की सांसारिक सुख की कभी इच्छा ना करे।
भोग और संग्रह की इच्छा सिवाय पाप करने के और कुछ काम नहीं आती अतः इस इच्छा का त्याग कर देना चाहिए।

मनुष्य को कर्मों का त्याग नहीं करना है,प्रत्युत कामना का त्याग करना है।
अपने लिए भोग और संग्रह की इच्छा करने से मनुष्य पशुओं से भी नीचे गिर जाता है तथा इसकी इच्छा का त्याग करने से देवताओं से भी ऊंचे उठ जाता है।
जैसा मैं चाहूँ वैसा हो जाए ये इच्छा जब तक रहेगी तब तक शांति नहीं मिल सकती।
निंदा इसलिए बुरी लगती है की हम प्रशंसा चाहते हैं हम प्रशंसा चाहते हैं तो वास्तव में हम प्रशंसा के योग्य नहीं हैं क्यूंकि जो प्रशंसा के योग्य होता है उसकी प्रशंसा की चाहना नहीं रहती।

दूसरों से अच्छा कहलाने की इच्छा बहुत बड़ी निर्बलता है इसलिए अच्छा बनना चाहिए पर अच्छा कहलाना नहीं चाहिए।
कामना छूटने से जो सुख होता है,वह सुख कामनाओं की पूर्ती से कभी नहीं होता।

चेतावनी
चेत करो यह संसार सदा के लिए नहीं है यहाँ सिर्फ मरने ही मरने वाले रहते हैं।फिर निश्चिन्तता कैसी?
विचार करें क्या ये दिन ऐसे ही रहेंगे?
हम मकान यहाँ बना रहे हैं,सजावट यहाँ कर रहे हैं,पर खुद मौत की तरफ भागे चले जा रहे.जहाँ जाना है हमे पहले उसको ठीक करना चाहिए।
आनेवाला जानेवाला होता है - यह नियम है।
हम भगवान् को नहीं देखते पर भगवान् हमे निरंतर देख रहा है।
निश्चित समय पर चलने वाली गाडी के लिए भी जब पहले से हम सावधानी रखते हैं,फिर जिस मौत रुपी गाडी का कोई समय निशित नहीं, उसके लिए तो हमे हरदम
सावधानी रखनी चाहिए।
Desire
The wish for the destructible(world,body), is by itself the impurity of our inner faculty(intellect,instinct and ego).
By giving up liking for ephemeral things,one achieves the eternal truth.
Just as,one gets misery without seeking it,so one receives pleasure without desire.An aspirant should never desire for worldly happiness.
The desire for self-enjoyment and accumulation degrades man,to worse than animals.Abjuring of this desire,raises one,higher than even the devine (Devas).
Man does not have to give action,but only to renounce desire.
'As i desire so it should be'- so long as one has such a wish one can not have peace.
We do not like condemnation,as we want appreciation.We seek appreciation,because in reality,we are not fit for the same.For those who deserve it,they do not wish for it.
By desiring to seek appreciation from others,is a great weakness.Therefore,be good and not be called good.
The happiness one gets by forsaking desire,could never be matched by satisfying desires.
Warning
Remember this world is not eternal.Only the dying live here,then why are you so smug and self satisfied about it?
We make a home here decorate it and hoard things.
But,we are rushing through to death.We must be prepared for the ultimate destination and make it good.
We do not see God, but God watches us without break.
The incoming has to go-that is the rule.
For a fixed time scheduled train also,attention is necessary from the very beginning.But the death symbolised train has no fixed time,for that,we should remain cautious always.
